Lemons are a very healthy fruit they taste sour. They are yellow (Lime and Lemons are not the same so don’t mistake them ) with a large amount of vitamin C.
Lemons are a species of the evergreen tree from the family of pants Rutaceae, native to South Asia, primarily found in North eastern India from this fruit is made a refreshing juice which we all call Lemonade.

Its Ph value is 2.2 and because of that it tastes sour. Its also used as a cocktail addition, lemon peel is used as well as the whole lemon. Whole lemon is used to make jam, curd and lemon liqueurs. Lemon slices in the shape of a circle with lemon peel are used as a decoration for foods and drinks. Grated lemon zest is used to add flavor to baked goods, cakes, puddings, rice, steak, chicken, salads and many more. In foods its primarily used in fish dishes because its acidity (Citrus acid) neutralizes amines in fish by converting them into ammonium salts.
Lemon is also used as a preservative in the preparation of sweets from various fruits. Of course, we must not forget that the leaves of the lemon tree are used for making tea and preparing cooked meat and sea food.

As we all have already said that Lemons a great source of vitamin C, so if we consume it regularly, Lemon can help defend the body against various viruses and influenza, as well as strengthen the immune system.
Lemon is also called a super-fruit because it protects against many diseases. It has beneficial effect on the liver, Intestines, Stomach, Immune system, nervous and cardiovascular systems. In addition to being able to strenghten our immune system by laryngitis, bronchitis, arthritis, high blood pressure, Bacterial infections, kidney gallstones, and according to the latest research and cancer!
Here I will introduce you to just some benefits we can have if we drink two glasses of infused water with lemon (2 slices of lemon in a cup add water) a day of course no sugar.
