Caesarean Section | Surgery

  Hello!

I hope you are all healthy!

This will be a post for women who have had a Caesarean Section-Surgery.

So on this occasion, I want to help you with my experience. How to maintain a clean and sterile wound after surgery and how to recover.

Caesarean Section | Surgery

First, you need to rest

First of all, you have to keep in mind that you have to lie down. Do not get up because if you need to clean dust, laundry or anything in the house. It can wait. Or you can hire a team of people around you. Aunts, grandparents, brothers, sisters, they can all help you. You just sit and rest. The most important thing is to recover after the operation. There will be time for everything else. Before leaving the hospital, the doctors will ask you if you went to the toilet because they will not let you go home until you have gone to the toilet.

Pick your food carefully

Secondly, you need to eat properly. You noticed that they bring boiled vegetables, mashed potatoes, cooked meat, cheese tea to mothers in the hospital. What does that mean? So if you are breastfeeding your baby you have to be careful of what you eat. Don’t eat chocolate. So you will have problems with the colon and haemorrhoids. Avoid overcooked dishes. Like a red onion, garlic, lemon, (lemon is hard on the baby’s stomach). And you don’t want the food you eat to bother your baby’s stomach a lot. You should not drink juices because your stomach will look bloated.

Cook yourself apple compote. Feel free to add cinnamon to this compote. Eat peaches, melons, green vegetables, cucumbers, carrots. Cook legumes, peas, broccoli, spinach, kale and cauliflower. You must get enough vitamins.

All kinds of vegetable soups, chicken or cream soups are very important in your menu. Consume them warm and by no means cold. That way you will have more milk for the baby.

Protect the Wound When Bathing

As a third item, I will mention – protect the wound when bathing. For this, you will need iodine for disinfection and a large patch. You can buy it for yourself in any pharmacy. After showering, dry the wound well.

Do not rub the wound with a towel, but pat it slowly.

The wound must stay dry.

When it’s time to take the strings out, don’t worry, it doesn’t hurt. It looks like you’re removing a scab from a body part. A little sting and nothing else. Still, be careful. Your abdominal muscles need to recover. Your skin should return to its original shape. For that, you need time and an adequate belt. When choosing a belt, make sure that it has great elasticity, softness, comfort, moisture absorption. It would be good to have antibacterial splitting as well.
